We’ve been thinking about beers all February for Thirsty Thursday starting with the Super Bowl (Boston and Atlanta beers) while meandering to Colorado and Oregon for some craft beer legends. Our final stop is in Stowaway’s home state of New York. Which indeed has a brewer’s association and quite a number of options. We love their New York State Beer Trail as that is just a charming notion (because you can do that much walking and drinking clearly).
You head to Long Island for great options like Blue Point Brewery or explore the Hudson Valley which has its own beer trail too (is this a trend or something?) but if you don’t want to go as far afield there are tons of options right in New York City most famously Six Point Brewery and Brooklyn Brewery which has a museum and a tasting tour bright in Williamsburg.
The north Brooklyn neighborhood used to be all warehouses but the area has grown to be well the cultural destination we all know and love as the epicenter of hipster America. Book a Small Batch Tours and then wander the streets of Williamsburg afterwards.
