Best part of your day? Hearing feedback from users who’ve found a job on The Muse; talking to our awesome team; planning new initiatives, tests or feature roll-outs with my cofounder

Hardest part of your day? I hate telling people no, so I try to batch any required “no”s all at once! Sometimes this ends up being late at night, when I’m answering emails.

The one item you without which your day is in shambles (or at least more challenging) – I’m sure that saying “my phone” is redundant, so instead, I’ll go with my favorite tool: Boomerang. I can barely function without it. Boomerang is a tool that allows you to send emails out of your inbox, and “boomerang” them back in at a specified time (for example, 8am tomorrow morning, or 3pm on Tuesday). I use it to make order out of the chaos that is my inbox, and it’s amazing.

What is the most consistent part of your daily routine? Going through my inbox every night from 10pm-1am, answering everything that I didn’t have time for during the day.

What is the least consistent part of your daily routine? Meetings, interviews, and speeches all happen from time to time, but they’re harder to predict! Right now I spend about 6-8 hours every week interviewing, which can surprisingly fun (but also, a lot).

RHYTHM:
Morning Person
Evening Person – Definitely an evening person!

GROOM:
I do my makeup with a couple products first thing in the morning
I touch up as needed throughout the day
(X)I swipe right…I mean just a little lipstick & mascara — Either this one or the one below! I love makeup for big meetings, anytime I’m on stage, and special occasions of all types, but I often go au natural on a day-to-day basis.
Makeup is for special occasions

SWEAT:
I’m all about that spin class life
Live to run, run to live right?
Namaste, my yoga practice centers me
DYEL Bro?
I’m More into Couch Surfing
(X) None of these? I’m super active by nature (walking everywhere, stairs when I can, the occasional run or hike) but definitely not “a runner”! Does backpacking the globe / exploring Queens and Brooklyn count?!

EAT:
I’ve got Seamless/Cavier/Instacart As My Most Used App
I’m Hitting Up The Whole Foods Prepared Foods Section
Naturally I Cook Something Simple & Wholesome Every Night
(X)I’m Trying Out This New Place I Read About On Some Food Blog — probably this one 🙂 Though if “I live at Sweetgreen” was an option, I’d also pick that – I go there 1-2x per week!
Everything In My Life Is Prepackaged

DRESS:
(X)I have a seasonal capsule wardrobe I rotate – This one! I shop for 90% of my work wardrobe on the same day 2x/year, and then wear those pieces all season. It makes it easier for me to figure out what to wear to work every day.
Remember that girl who has one outfit? Yeah, I’m into that
Whatever is clean
I plan my outfits for the week on Sundays
